Proposing to her on Halloween which is the day you least expect it....and tell her that i went trick or treating and got some candy and when she opens the candy BAM!!!! wedding ring blinkgin all in her face then i'll get on one knee and say

But me getting married isnt something that i see is gonna happen no time soon :happysad:

 

I plan on taking my g/f to europe sometime soon. I plan on asking her to marry me then.
Preferably in Venice, Italy. I went there a long time ago and its a nice romantic place to pop the question.

 

My wife and I had been dating about a year, shacked up together about half that. I had the ring and had the proposal all laid out(More on that later) She gets a call from a friend of hers and is crying when whe gets off the phone. This young daughter(less than 5) of a friend of my wife had just died from a many year battle with cancer. My wife was very close to the kid, spent several years as a sort of surrogate mom, going to hospital for chemo and what not with the little girl, it was almost like her owne kid. My wife was pretty over wrought by this, inconsolable even. She is crying, saying I need to do something, so I go get the ring, kneel down and propose. She was so suprised she stopped crying and said, "You really are magic." We got married a few weeks later.

I had planned to take her out for chinese food and do the will you marry me fortune cookie, but it worked out okay.

I proposed to my girl at the time on our anniversary....I was nervous as fawk since i did it in front of her family.....

and obviously we didn't go through with the wedding

 

I'll probably propose in a park on a break from a horse ride. Or feeding bunnies in a park. she loves horses and bunnies. But it'll definitely have to be outdoors somewhere since she loves trees and wildlife.

Gotta do the permission thing, too. But I'll ask her brothers and mom instead of father.
