The exclusive deal was only for a period of time, they are currently developing the PS2 version. I think the above post means the other RE games, the gun and the online game which aren't "true" RE games in many peoples eyes.

This game feels a lot different than the older RE games. It's more action packed.

 

Dude 21 hours...thats alot for a resident evil....I just got inside the castle now and i fought that thing in the prison....ashley just got gripped up in a trap so now im beginning the sewers :nervous:

 

those first person shoot em up's were really gay. they came out on the PS2. yes, RE2 was probably the best, but RE4 is pretty close to it. i beat it in 21 hr.s too, but i wanted to make sure i went through EVERYTHING though, thats only why it took me so long.

i beat assignment ada too. im playing the 2nd time now, so i can make a million petas and buy the unlimited ammo tommy gun. oh yeah, the new clothes in the 2nd time around are pretty cool. that ashley character is pretty good looking IMO.

 

damn I'm at the part where I am fighting little salvadore's right hand man. this is tough, but the game is so awesome.

 

I finally got it yesterday, but I haven't played it yet. Still working on MGS3.

 

oh man hurry up and beat MGS3 to you can play RE4

 

RE4 owns IMO, but i have been a loyal fan since 97 so yeah.which guy is salvadors right hand man again?

Oh yeah, you know what, i never killed him come to think of it. i kept freezing and shooting him, but after a while of doing that, the elevator came, so i just said screw it and ran in there.... never killed him. im gonna see him soon again though, im playing through the second time, and im pretty close to that part again. the good thing is, my handgun (Red9) is a power level 5 (which a stock shotgun is 4) and my shotgun is at 8, and its exclusive is it being effective in any distances. what happens the 2nd time around, is you start with the all the same stuff you had when you finnished the game the first time, so its super easy now.
