I just realized something. There are many people, some on this board that work on cars or own a shop for a living. A considerable amount of thier business is to people who drive auto's.
So if you discourage those people from doing things with thier cars, including regular maintenance as well as installations, you pretty much discourage some business don't you.
That's why I don't criticise so quickly.

Not everyone mod cars. Heck the vast majority of people out there drive automatics and DO NOT MOD their cars.

If I owned a shop, the only thing I'd do with automatic transmissions would be changing fluids or replacing the them if they are messed up. :exnbp:

Automatic transmissions are too complicated for me. h:

eh?
Like if I stopped on a hill which I have to to pull into my driveway, the car wouldn't have enough traction to start moving again. So I had to roll all the way back down with my flashers on and have my friend make sure no one was coming so I could pull straight into my driveway without stopping on the hill.

Automatics are useless in Honda's, but in domestics or higher end car, they prove to be more useful.

It is pretty useful in my car. It like transfers the energy from the engine to like the wheels so my car moves.
