Insensitive? Maybe a little bit, but from a Christian point of view I understand exactly what he was saying.

 

I don't know if there is enough there to say he was wrong one way or another.
Too many times I see things getting twisted and taken out of context, so I don't think we should assume anything.

Why don't people understand that the Bible uses analogy. Thats what this is. That passage has nothing to do with God destroying the sinful. Its about the strength of your religion.
