People like to elevate themselves above other people. Using the church to do this is a bit against what people were taught. Or what Jesus was about. Or what most religions are about.

 

Christianity is about self propagation through indoctrination.

 

Christianity is supposed to be about following Christ and his teachings. Sadly many churches have set a bad example for the public.
I guess you just have good and bad in every religion.... Kind of like terrorists misrepresenting the Islamic religion.

 

That is the most incorrect thing I have ever read here, it is just wrong on so many levels. I think perhaps Manincamo was referring to the meaning of coprophagia. Maybe, just maybe, DeLay was referring to the things happening in this country, rather than the incorrect inference that he felt the victims of this disaster were, "Asking for it"because they wer largely not Christians.

 

no he is right. Its not supposed to be, but that is what it generally has become. I have only met a few true christians, and they are some of the best people I have ever met. Its a shame.
