There's lots of nice camera equipment on ebay... :dunno:

For car parts I think I would only turn to ebay if what I was looking for could not be found elsewhere.

The problem with ebay is that in most areas you have too many damn people trying to make money by having 30 auctions of the same chicken shit accessory for the product you're actually looking for. I've had some luck selling a few random items of mine when I no longer wanted them, but I think ebay's peak usefulness as a true, grassroots force was back in the late 90s before it became the behemoth that it is today.

Generally speaking I think of ebay as sort of the retarded stepcousin of normal markets. Going with that, since the automotive accessory market is already retarded as is, the automotive accessory market as represented on ebay is the retarded stepcousin of a retarded market, thus making it doubly retarded.

If I ever do get to amassing that collection of old Nikkor lenses though, ebay's where I'll do it.
