Default Hmmmm....carbs

Thinking about carbing Aretha.

Anyone know anything about it or anyone who does know about going carb on an H22?

I would ask in Hybrid but I would get no real response....can't ask in Accord because well its Accord section...engine tech is great if I needed something normal. I think you all get the picture

So you want to ask about carbs on a honda board in 2004, almost 5? h:

What kinda gains can you get from that?

I wouldn't carb an already fuel injected motor. There's no point IMO. Much less tunable. There's a reason they make EFI kits for old school muscle cars now.

Well I have seen carb converted Civs run some mad times so there may be some cases where the changeover is an advantage.

This is why I am asking about it

I don't see why. You can have much more accurate tuning using fuel injection and a programmable rom/EMS system, especially in cars running high compression or lots of boost, that need the accurate and reliable tune in order to keep running.

Well I Can see it was pointless to ask in here too since obviously no one in here has any experience with it.

Oh well I guess I will start the phone search for the helpful info I seek.

I'd stick with FI dude. Or ITBs would be a much better alternative. But if you insist, maybe he can help you since he's one of the few Honda guys left that use carbs.
