Kodak EasyShare CX7525

I would think so. All the insurance adjusters in our company use the Easyshare CX6230. The one your mom bought is a newer model than these. They are not the best looking or smallest camera, but they take good pics.

BTW, most modern TV's can be programmed to "forget" certain channels.

Its one of those "noobs buy this because you don't have any other idea of what makes a good camera and you will never use manual functions" type cameras.
Basically an idiot proof system that takes pictures...not gonna say they are good and not gona say they are junk but somewhere in there is the answer.

I would check out the Fuji Finepix myself because you can get good bang for your buck if you look around. If you can find the Olympus C series point and shoot cameras (I own a C-4000) they are great cameras. Used you can get them for about $200 or even less.
Just look around at features and go to a camera shop that sells used equipment as well (Not Wolff or Ritz...they suck ass and will rip you off horribly).

I have the CX-4230. It works for me. I didnt buy it to go out and try to be a photographer. I bought it for everday snapshots. It's fine for that purpose. i don't know anything about the other models, but my brother and sister and law just got a Kodak easy share and it's great.
Unless your mom is going to go be a photographer, i dont see why she'd have any problems with it. Most moms barely know how to operate cell phones and dvd players today, let alone a top of hte line digital camera.
