Default Is Honda still going strong?

It seems like Honda is growing and changing to suit the needs of the consumer as well as that of the corporation, while doing a lot to protect the environment in many ways.
Maybe Honda is just growing up in a way, and hasn't peaked, but still has a lot of potential.

Efficiency

Hybrid Green Tree-hugging shit

How about you keep what Honda had and take all the big ass SUV's and trucks off the roads unless they are being used for their purpose?

Well here in California, a majority of people drive SUV's and big ass trucks with one person in them and nothing in the bed. And we are the state with the biggest smog problem...what gives?

I like the direction they're taking.

I just wish the cars didn't come with so much electronic shit in them.

All modern cars come with a bunch of electronic stuff in em. But like, okay, an Si hatch...what's all electronic about that? I mean yeah it has power windows and whatnot but otherwise I don't see any gizmo factor.

The days of simple, light, 2200 pound cars are pretty much done. Unless you're talking Lotus Elise or Toyota MR2 Spyder. Even Miatas are kind of porky nowadays.

I like the ways they're doing more for safety and emissions. I can't say I like all their new cars, and it does seem like performance is taking more of a back seat than it used to for most models. The social responsibility aspect = The cars (or at least those that regular folk can afford) =

:edit: I do think its cool that the new hybrid accord is the fastest stock accord yet
