You know, if the world warms up (which it does naturally anyway), that will create some loss of habitat, without a doubt.

It will also create more rains, which may cause some problems in some area's, but will also make now un-inhabitable area's (like big deserts) habitable and full of life again.

There's two sides to every coin.

Now, to answer your question:

Not in our lifetime.

keep dreaming...as long as our government keeps restrisctions on how many gas/electric cars such as the hybrid civic, toyota prius and the new hybrids comming out later this year...the hybrid highlander and fords hybrid SUV then we will forever have pollution...Toyota is only allowed to manufacture so many prius's a year because the average driver would only have to fill up their tank about once a month rather then every week..the government doesnt want to lose money on the high gas prices...so until the government wants to help get rid of pollution theres nothing we can do about it

its funny b/c when people think of global warming, they thing the earth is going to flood or dry out or get really really hot, when in reality its going to get really cold and another ice age will come.

The hell are you talking about? The government provides a tax credit on the purchase of hybrid vehicles. Production is limited because suppliers can't make batteries fast enough to keep up with demand.

yes...you get a tax credit of only 2,500 bucks...small businesses get tax credits upwards of 25,000 for trucks and suv's....so whose winning out?...and no its not limited because of the speed of production on batteries...the government wont allow them to mass produce them like other vehicles...last year toyota was capped at 300 priuses...and this is information that was taught to me when i worked for toyota..not propaganda
