that doesn't make up for it's dated exterior, cramped interior, ugly gauges, tiny trunk.

I just built one of each on their websites. Fully loaded manual IS300 (w/ leather, but leather is overrated anyway) $31K, fully loaded manual TSX $29K. I consider that to be about the same price.

What the hell do you need a bigger trunk for? You gonna haul bodies around or something? If you're buying a car because you're an enthusiast and you like driving, there's no way you're gonna put trunk size over drivetrain.
RWD w/ tiny trunk >>>> FWD with ginormous trunk
The rest is subjective, IMO, the trunk is big enough, the interior isn't cramped at all, the guages being ugly and the styling being dated is an opinion (imo, the IS300 still looks better than the TSX).
The only complaint I have about the IS300 is the taillights.

overall, i think the car is very nice, they gave an IS300 to my mom for a rental car one day and it was really fast but my mom said it was too low, lol.

Josh S. used to co-drive that car. I believe he won nationals 2-4 times but I don't remember what years or what class.
