Why would you even go through that?

It looks like poop. But it would be an easy clean up with a shop vac.

Its called offroading... I was the first to attempt it. Just to give you an idea, the Jeep pulling me out was on 37" tires. Look at the water line on his tires and he's not even as far in as I was. I was sitting in about 32-34" of mud/sand/water

The water line under my hood was about 3" under my intake cone... too close for my comfort.

Im not playing in anything deeper than a puddle from now on.....until I get a snorkel :woot:

I ripped out the carpet and took out the front seats pulled the drain plugs in the bottom of my tub :chuckles: (goes to show what Chrysler forecasts these vehicles going through) and hosed out the inside...nonetheless, it was a PITA!!!

If it was still the weekend I would have told you to go to Home Depot and pick up the Rigid 5hp 12 gallon that was on sale ($30) since you'll probably put it to good use in the future. h:

And I'd buy some Collinite if I was going to go mudding because that would make cleanup a hell of a lot easier. The mud would probably fall off.

You look like you have a hard time off-roading lol.

You'll get used to it soon enough, takes a lot of technique.

I used to take our Sahara out all the time, never got stuck. We do the same thing in my friends Samauri, the only time we've gotten stuck was when we burried the axle to the frame in snow :exnbp:, also broken a fair amount of shit haha.

Honestly, any relatively stock TJ would have gotten stuck if they took my path. It was simply too deep without large enough tires. But you are so right, it takes a long time to learn the way your machine works and articulates objects properly. I guess its a good thing I don't have funds for a lift right now because they say to wheel your ride stock for a while.

You're right, I am the newest fellow to our group of wheeling buddies. Like I said it was my third time only and still getting to learn the TJ's limits in its current form.

But it did provide for good laughs and memories. I've been the talk of the Paragon forum recently

Going again this Sunday, hopefully will have more better pics.

oh damn. I could never do that. I would love going over the rocks and trail but through the mud like that I'd be afraid of exactly what happened to you. That must have been a bitch to get clean
