Workout Crew Question
I was just curious about what philosophy you guys follow. For the past 2 years, I've been working out two body parts at a time per day. Basically, I do:
Mon: Chest/Shoulders
Tues: Back/Biceps
Weds: Triceps/Legs
Thur: Chest/Shoulders
Fri: Back/Biceps
Sat: Triceps/Legs
Sun: Off
I know some friends who tell me that they work out differently however. They do each body part one day a week, and just hit it really hard for that one day. What do you guys follow? What in your opinion is better? What gets better results? Thanks in advance.

When I worked out, this was my routine:
Day 1: Abs, Chest, Legs
Day 2: Back, Shoulders
Day 3: Abs, Biceps, Triceps
Day 4: Off
Repeat.
I tried to have a day in between workouts that used the same muscles...IE some chest workouts also work biceps and triceps a bit, etc. The muscles need a day of rest before they are worked hard again.

how we did it when i was in the army...doesnt really matter what you work out on which day because different people want different results ie. some want arms some want chest some want legs some want to be huge everywhere... just as long as you do pulling muscles one day and pushing muscles the next day...like dont mix curls with bench press all in one session..do something like curls and that one thing thats like rowing but at chest height...ex. ex.
