Wait wait... so with HD Advance I can use the burned versions of my games to play on my PS2?

OR somehow I get them onto my computer? I don't understand how it works :wtc:

You "rip" your games to the HD... it makes a copy of the games to the disk, so you only need to use the HD Advance boot disc to play all the games you have stored on your HD

Oh cool. So in theory... not that someone would do this... but in theory... you can rent games and rip em... but you still cant play burned versions. Correct?

Yes, if you run HD Advance alone. HD advance can also work with slidecard and other such swaping utilities so you can use burned games, but that's not an option inherent in HD Advance...

If I buy it do I also want the "slide tool" with it?

Also... should I get an additional HHD like the Maxtor External one here : http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....3858646&cmp=++

How would it hook up also?

Ohhh... ohhh... Or maybe an internal one like CompUSA has on sale black friday?

I hope that works. So the PS2 gets hooked to the computer through the net adapter and somehow links to the internal 200GB Maxtor HDD?

I'm excited... but so clueless

you could just download it, but you have to find a crack for it i believe (which is hard) and it's worth it to buy it (especially if you were gonna buy a chip anyway).
I just found it funny that you suggest paying for the software that allows you to bootleg games.:chuckles:

The memory card and harddrive trick only works with the fullsize PS2 because the slim doesn't have a HDD acceptor in the back of it. As of now the only way to mod the slim is still with chip and burn process.
