:chuckles: nearly = not quite there. meaning less than 50%.
There are only 2 types of adults, male and female. So if the females are "nearly half" of the adults with HIV... men would then have to be over half.
Pack that in a bowl and smoke it!

i don't see what's surprising, especially given that it's in africa. i might find it interesting if that were the case in north america. and deek, you're partly right. in vaginal sex, it's much easier for the woman to contract. in anal sex, well, no need to explain there.
i've also heard that how they count the number of infected there is questionable. regardless, there is a real problem.
