And I also thought they were a waste. Well The social ones at least. The one i'm almost in is a Business Professional Frat. And the past 6 weeks i've learned alot of shit. We worked our asses off fundraising, putting together events, such as guest speakers, a few comunity service, and alot of other things that i feel have helped me learn alot.

h:I'm not paying for friends, parties, socials. I joined to learn, and expand my skills, connections and networking. Last year four graduating members were hooked up with jobs at PWC through an Alumni network. Among others that have been helped out and given opportunities that placed them in a well paying job.

Definatilly time mangement, improved my communication skills, improved my skills on approaching people and asking for money! I was the fundraising chair and we had to raise 2,000 in 5 weeks. It was tough but we did it. Also improved my interviewing skills. Recieved very helpful tips from the few workshops that we had on resumes and interviewing.
