I just finished playing halo 2.... weird.....

 

I actually didn't do that, it's just part of the scenery. But you can pick up those sawblades with that anti-grav gun, and lauch them at enemies and cut them in half.

 

yes and no. i've played for a short amount of time. most of what i've seen has been screenshots and vid clips. regardless, my impression so far is that this game is better than anything FPS out there right now.

 

It does, but less... there's more variance in the play, more problem solving involved, and more things I have to take into consideration when I play... difficult, but stimulates my brain.

 

anyone else having problems with their sound in game? it glitches up on me, mostly during the first 5 minutes of play. It sounds like the voice/effect stutters. No drop in frame rate, just sound. I have a 5.1 Turtle beach santa cruz sound card, a 9800 Pro 128MB video card a 2.6 Ghz Processor and 512MB of ram. I think it may be due to the 512 RAM i ordered another 512MB so hopefully that fixes it.

 

nope, check irq settings and just keep lookin for different settings ingame and in windows. 512 should be fine. Also try reducing or turning off your swap file. that will increase game speed and reduce harddrive reading.
