take the network admin job and learn as much as you can in a shortest amount of time as you can. it will be a door opener if you can do as I described above.

imo most computer stuff counts as what you like doing
e.g. net admin -> net security -> professor at an IT school
web developer is distinctive enough from net admin just like programmer to writer (novels)

Not all the time, there are enough aspects of the computer industry that without getting years of experience you won't be able to pick up. AI for instance, you can't just walk in and work in AI. You can't just work 2 years as an AI programmer and then suddenly jump into Fault tolerance work at some other place. Most of the stuff being discussed is grass roots stuff, when you start getting into the finer details you need the experience before you will get hired. But, thats just my humble opinion.

I just wanna make money but make sure if i something happens to my health (knock on wood) that i can afford medicine or whatever. I know i need some medicine but im wondering if my benefits are still in effect even though i dont work there anymore

when i quit, my medical was paid until the end of the month. call your former companys hr and ask them.
