She's not poor. She's been in the district for 10 years and is single, so she is by no means poor. She just...I think she follows what her friend's do. Her friends are all either wanting to live in Europe, travel there often, or are European. Although she hates France. "Mean, nasty, rude people" oh well, I just wish she would have given me a reason why she believed it, as in the past she used to give me a reason to think. (I think it has to do with her being tired. The new batch of students that entered aren't trying as hard--34 fights in the school this year, I think we might have had 3 the whole 3 1/2 years I was there)

She's a democrat because she's in a teachers union, and teachers unions love democrats.

Teachers unions also hate Republicans because they tend to cut funding to education and impose lots of standardized testing.

I don't think you're looking at NCLB quite objectively. Don't get me wrong, I don't like it either. But well, that ain't what this thread's about and we don't need to make this a political argument thread because then it will get locked.

I overlooked this. This is why I've only had 2 non-democrat teachers.

By the way: seeing a HAN admin lock a thread strictly because the content is political is worse than herpes.

Hey, I don't mod the basement. Just pointing out what will happen.

It was decided that some time was needed after the election to let things cool down.

I believe politics in and of itself is not cause for lockage, but instead if something is potentially debatable and heatedly so, then it gets closed. But I defer to the basement mods to define their policy more clearly.
