I had an old family friend I talked to. He told me he didn't care who ran, he just voted for the democrat. He said in his 70 some odd years he noticed a trend. When everybody is poor, and the economy is bad, everybody's a democrat and they vote that way. They get into office, start turning the ecomomy around, everybody gets rich, become replubican's, vote their guy into office and then proced to screw everything up. Now that everybody's poor again, they're now democrats and the cycle starts all over. I've noticed that it's been relatively true during my lifetime.
