ditto. nec 3500a with the 2.17f/w here too. It runs great, and has impressive/consistant pi/po scans. it's also pretty cheap too.
as far as +-, IMO plus is better for most applications, because it can be bitset to -rom so that a dvd player reads it as a dvd-rom instead of a burned disc. I still use -r for ps2 games though.
