Default Another computer question. Outlook Express.

I did a fresh install last month of Windows XP HE (thanks for help guys). But I forgot to back-up my email from my old system. I have a newer hd, which is faster.

How do I pull the older emails off my old hd, which is out of the case right now? I have a Promise Ultra 133 TX2 IDE controller with two hds on it. I have one more slot I could hook up the older hd to it.

I did have the old hd hooked up to the IDE controller and tried to do an import, but Outlook Express couldn't do it - so I took out the older hd.

Thanks in advance.

it's been a long time but i believe you have to do an archiving? then import into the new hhd.

you should still be able to launch OE from the old hdd then look for the archiving option.

someone else chime in if I'm wrong. It's been about a year since I've done this.
