stock for stock, the LS can actually outrun an Si with a great launch.

you dont have a b16 if you think you have too much low end....heck any torque for that matter.

and LS and 99-00 Si's are pretty close, but an Si will edge out an LS at the end of the 1/4 mile. i still rather have an LS than an Si, and i have beat several Si's when i had my teg, but i also lost to several Si's. torque is great and all, but fact is......LS 3rd gear blows muddyfuxing donkey balls compared to the b16/b17/b18c gearing.
(this is of course, given that both cars are stock).

3rd gear on a GSR = insane....top of 3rd is where my GSR pulls like a mo-fo!

yeah I agree. 1st was kind of short but 2nd and 3rd is pretty damn good
