I upgraded the personal proxy too... and updated the amount of blocks it gets. should be able to get more blocks now or soon.

well... they are blocking the well known ports now

so I stopped RC2-72 on that system :happysad:

That monster was about 3x faster than my home system too :happysad:

I was going to add the 3 other slightly slower system if that one worked

How about something really high like port 556677?

it might work

I know they usally scan ports for suspicious activity and shut them down if something is found but it's worth a try

crud the client wont take port 556677


it can only be 5digits


how about 98765



nevermind its only taking well known ports :doh:

only taking well known ports? I can set the server to listen on just about any port you'd like... of course the ISP blocks some ports... 80..25...110...21... etc... the really really common ports

how about 98765
TCP/IP ports only go upto 65,534

well anyhow, the e-mail workaround worked fine...

until I killed the OS on the system :happysad:

it is the dead now and I had about 20 or so stat units in the buffer-out file :doh:

I managed to send about 2 dozen stat units earlier.

I'm going to figure out which bug cause this then try again in the morning.

My home system should be chugging along nicely
