They are just jerks on many campuses. They'll take your money and run.
If you protest, they'll call you an Objectivist, Libertarian, etc etc

I enjoyed partying with them a little re the debates in Fall 2000, but they were a pain in the ass when I returned on campus as a sophomore and told them, shortly after September 11th, I have better things to do. I doubt few of them even really read their philosophy texts like they should. They're too busy to read.

In case no one here noticed, I'm not about big business, big government, big academia, or organized religion. I'm not some party hack holding the line.

I don't see the problem with Big Business, it gives lots of people jobs that they wouldn't otherwise have, and makes tons of income for the country. It quite often creates breakthroughs in technology, of all fields, as well.

TO me, it seems that the people who hate big business hate the unforutnate mis-treating of some employee's that DOES occasionally happen, but in generaly - it seems to me, that people who hate big business are just jealous of the people running that big business making billions of dollars for themselves at the "expense of the little man working for him."

Most campus' are primarily Democrats or Liberals, it's more or less the way the young mind tends to think. It gets more cynical as time goes on.

It's good to be idealistic in the beginning though, so long as you recognize reality at some point in your maturing stage.

(I'm not saying Democrats or Liberals aren't realistic, so don't freak out you libs)
