There's a reason they are asking less money for it...

One other possibility if you're on a budget is Kteller. They sell bolt up piping kits and mufflers. Assuming you're not running a whole ton of motor, a 2.25" stainless piping kit with 14" resonator is $330 and a 2.25" stainless oval muffler with 4" angle cut tip is $100, for a total of $430. That's about $90 cheaper than RS*R and about 40 bucks less than Tanabe.

That exhaust looks ok, but you can't really tell the quality/build from most generic brands. What brand is that?

I have an N1 axleback and no resonator...it's loud...but it's not as loud as people are making it seem to be. It's not too loud to hold conversations in...but you do have to speak up some. Also...if you've got a radio...you can block out 95% of the exhaust sound.

Canisters without resonators are loud. Mine is a 2" pipe with a canister and no resonator and it's freakin defeaning.

Sounds really really nice though.

And if it ends up being too loud, you can always just run with the silencer in on the street...I do a lot.
