Ok let me say it better, your posts are negative.
When I first posted about my swap some people asked for updates and generally liked the idea of me doing it. This site acutally encouraged me in many ways. So I figure that one part of being kept updated is driving impressions. I don't feel like I can take on the world, I just have something I can enjoy now that I worked hard on. For the past 3 years I've done nothing but read about and heard about what VTEC is like, and what swapped cars are like, and performance Honda's in general are like. I've been working on this car and this swap for about the same amount of time. I researched it, put a lot of effort into something I thought was worthwhile and I had a passion for. Turbo and license? This swap was a huge undertaking, no one knows anything about Honda performance around here. I don't live in California tuner paradise with some nice high paying job and a couple BMW's. I had to do this with information that was shaky at best from the internet and the guy I bought the motor from. There is probably no one who lives in a 30 mile radius of here with a swapped Honda. I don't understand the license thing you keep ragging on when even you just denounced in your other thread the process of getting one. My friend and I worked hard on this and overcame obstacles and finished it, I was just sharing the fruits of my labor with fellow Honda enthusiasts. I wasn't trying to brag or be egotistical, I was just sharing my impressions of my DOHC VTEC swap like so many others have shared with me. Sorry to rain on whatever parade you had.

Don't feel too bad. My '89 didn't come with it either . Maybe I'll do a head-swap to try it out before my 'big project'.

I know that, I wasn't overly impressed with how quick it was.
The sound was cool though and it was quite a difference over stock especially with the LSD and a good clutch. The loss of steering control when I burned tire in second and third is what made me a little scared. It's no monster but it's a lot of fun.
I wish I was able to fool myself by thinking a louder car is faster, I would've been happy with my D16 with a fartcan. h:
