hyper blinker? :eh:

I had a similar problem where I had replaced my turn signals with LED's (quite expensive too) and to get them to blink at the normal rate and not flash like they are having a seisure I had to install these big resistors. well the one fell off so it was blinking like crazy mad super fast... so the guy took out and threw away about $20 worth of LED replacement bulbs from the one side and put in some 10 cent cheap ass ugly incandcents. I just took the car in for an inspection and he didn't charge me for the bulbs... but I don't want regular bulbs. They are gone he threw em out, gone, trash is picked up daily there I have to order new LED bulbs now.

I called the owner twice and he said they were gone and he can't replace them because they weren't working properly. it was a loosing battle, I couldn't argue with him he had no idea what they were

Damn Mandi. I'd be pissed. I always thought they had to tell you they were going to fix something before they did it first. I wouldn't pay. If he won't let the car out, call the better business beauru

Request the form that has the spot that you sign that authorizes labor to be done on your car. When they can't produce the document, say "Well, either we can negotiate the charges, or go to court."

ok, so i just got back. He let go without paying today. He said if I change the turn signals myself (he didnt have time to) I can bring the one back tomorrow that he put in and he'll fix the bill. $17 for a friggin turn signal.

So i changed it myself and am going to take it back tomorrow to get my $17

Glad that was easy.

no. i think had my mom not been there, who he knows, it wouldve went a little differently. I just went in and when he got my bill out, i was like "i have the original turn signal in my trunk" He was like "oh, you put that other one in there on purpose?" I was like "yea, like 2 years ago"...He kept saying that it blinked too fast, blah blah blah, like i didn't already know that. I asked him if he could put that one in and take the other one back instead of charging me for something I already had. He said he didnt have time to do it then, but that i could bring it back in. I was like, well I can change it myself and give the other one back. He said that was fine and that I could just pay for it tomorrow instead of fixing the bill right there. He must have really been in a hurry because it only took me 2 minutes to change it. :dunno:

Whatever though, it's fixed now. I have a normal turn signal again :yay: Last piece of rice off of the civic! :joshers:
