Default Vote or Die

With the up and coming elections. Theres increased people telling you to vote. Mainly from music artists. They have that slogan Vote or Die.

How many of you feel that this is a good strategy?

"Vote or Die" seems a little harsh. Who thought that was going to motivate young people?

hey im not gonna vote because not EVERY vote matters and it is stupid. read the rest of what i have to say befor you judge me. as everyone should know from the last election the popular vote does not constitute whome the presedint will be, the electoral votes do. so here is the reason i am not going to vote, i live in texas and all of the texas electoral votes will undoubtubly go to bush so it would be a big fat waste of time for me to vote for or against bush and thats my reason so now you can judge me.

Thats fine. However, if you don't participate in the process, don't complain about it.

If Bush wins the electoral votes of Texas by a small margin, it will send a stronger signal that it is time to do away with the electoral college.
