I think I have natural driving skill, but I have a lot to learn and practice.

No... reading your posts autox will make it worse. You need a reality check son, you are the kind of kid that will go to an autox and get an adrenaline high and then try that on the street and end up wrapped around a tree.

maybe, I come off as reckless but I only really push hard for any period of time maybe 1 out of every 100 times I drive, if that. Alot of the time in parking lots. I worry a shitload about getting in accidents, if I feel the least bit like I don't know what can be around the next corner I don't push 90-100% like I want to, I back off a lot. It's probably a little dangerous though that I don't consider myself or the car variables, just others, the road condition, and visibilty. I get all three of those out of the way and I'll have my fun, but it almost never happens. So auto-x wounded be such a bad thing, let me have my fun safely, I mean, what the hell is a swapped CRX for?

you may be a quick learner, but your confidence and arrogance will cut your potential.

learn humility and how to be humble, then the sky'll be the limit.. but if all you can do is put others down to show how much 'skill' or God-given talent you have, ... thats stupid.

Trust me... if you don't have the maturity to understand what is controlled and what is variable you will end up hurt. If you push hard on the streets even 0.1% of the time, you will do it more after you start autoxing unless you realize that its dangerous. At your age its hard to grasp that level of maturity. You'll learn from your mistakes, we could make countless posts but you will screw up. The real key is how quickly you learn.

yeah, I tried not to make it sound like bragging, I was really just curious about how other people absorbed driving. It's hard to help but feel a little pride, its one of the few things I'm really adaptive at. I like to be good at something that I enjoy immensely, I've always had a passion for cars and driving.
