What the hell is wrong with my router?
I have a Linksys WRT45G that is a warranty replacement for the first one, which was defective and exhibited the kind of behaviour you describe. Save yourself the headache and get it replaced.
One of the ports of my Linksys failed. So I moved to another one, but then the router had the problems so I just chucked it aside and bought a Netgear.
I wonder if I shoulda just sent the Linksys back, I think it's been over 2 years :eek4:

Thanks maxboost and brian. I did both (first updated firmware using that site, then let it sit for 20 minutes) and now my AIM seems to be doing fine. I don't want to jinx it though
