damn printer! need help

so my printer is the apt's network printer. my roommate tried printing something and it didn't print. now i can't get the printer to delete the document from memory - so it's frozen.

how can i force it to delete right now.

Shut down the computer, unplug it, count the hairs on your big toe, plug it back in, start the computer, type "i'm a dork", evaluate printer status, post.

try unsharing it, restart both computers, the one trying to print should see its unavailable and you can cancel printing. reshare printer. something along those lines.
