well i KNOW the difference between something being hot and warm by temperature. many languages have "warm" and "hot" in their vocabulary
Arabic:
حار -Harr = hot
دافئ -daafi' = warm
Russian:
горячий - gaerr-ya-chee = hot
теплый - teplieh = warm
