when to use warm-hot?

Its all part of learning a new language i guess... I have to say that I think English is a easy language to learn. My English is actually very good by now, i just have problems with spelling and some thing like warm<hot, cause we dont have that in French. For exemple we use the same word to say we like apples/love our girlfriend...

well i KNOW the difference between something being hot and warm by temperature. many languages have "warm" and "hot" in their vocabulary

Arabic:
حار -Harr = hot
دافئ -daafi' = warm

Russian:
горячий - gaerr-ya-chee = hot
теплый - teplieh = warm
