i have a garage band named Moop. i make a demo cd, but want to email it to my friend. he's a complete tool and can't figure out how to work his recorder.

i make an image of my demo cd, ftp it to an account, and set it up for his download.

this happens millions of times a day around the world for garage bands like mine. h:

Linux Images/ISO's are a common use of these types of files also. You can even download multiple cd's worth of bin/cue files using bittorrent for 100% legal reasons. Just because some people use it for bad doesn't mean it's all illegal and should be shut down.

Person A works in Office A. He has a presentation to do at Office B. Person A goes to Office B for presentation but realizes he left disc A (which contains his entire presentation) back at Office A. He could have it sent electronically (he has an image file on his computer at Office A) to him but his ethernet port has playdoh in it from Kid A. So Person A calls Person B at Office A and has him send bin/cue files to Person C at Office B. Said Person C burns the bin/cue files for Person A and the presentation goes smoothly.

But where did kid A come in the situation and why would person Z meet Racer X at location D by Office A to send disc A electronically to Office B so Person C can burn it?

 

Person A left laptop W on coffee table R where Kid A was playing with said playdoh. Person A and Person B were roommates with Person C in college so they're all down. Racer X met Person Z at Location D to pick up packages of L S and D
