Kept hearing a clink, clink, clink..
on the way to work..
changed my oil yesterday, forgot to put my cover back on where the jack penetrates ( :rick: ) into the side skirt, a few small scratches left on the surrounding area, but rubbed off with my finger. Might have to buff it out a little bit h:
on the same note, used a heavier oil, no more ticking from the motor :yay:

instead of using a heavier oil put in 1/2qt more oil.
it's a trick us autoxers use. sometime we put in as much as 1qt more pass the full mark.

I always wondered... why is there a full mark? Why not just fill it till it's full, like to the top? :dunno:

I'll see how this goes, then switch to 5w30 if there's no noticeable difference.

it will cause the oil to foam up. foamy oil = no lube = you are fuxsanged
this is more of a problem with cars with small oil capacity. my car holds 7qt so 1 more qt doesn't affect it as much as say the e30 which only holds 4 qts.
