Well.... Got home after work. I noticed that one of my Heat shield bolts jiggled loose. I knew i tightened this the other day. So i retightened it. Just to be safe i went ahead and checked all my motor mounts and tranny mounts. All still look great for being 2 years old. Well at this point i decided to go for a drive. the sound wasnt as bad. but it was still loud but it no longer had the different tones. well im driving along, the odd sound gets louder and comes back. at this point im now cussing.. I pull over and look under my hood. what do i find, the damn heat shield bolt is loose again. well at this point in already up set so i grab a ratchet and decided to un bolt the bolt. well i got to do so and the damn bolt falls out. it turns out that it was old and rusted. and over time of wear and it must of been when they painted the headers, the bolt had snapped in half. the damn thing was being held in by thread lock and when that wore off it started to fall out. Well i left the bolt out. the noise is better shounds better at least. I know for a fact that i do have an exhaust leak right off the cat and it needs repaired. I put some instake gasket on it just to see.

Now my exhaust sounds like it should be. well still abit loud after the gasket stuff ended up failing but, i have that nice resonance of power from the muffler again. the nice deep throaty sound that ive come to love is back for the time being^_^

Now to just by a new exhaust system.

Anyone know if that Pacesetter one i have listed above is any good?
