Default Buying Socks

For some reason all the sox I buy wind up getting holes in them in a month or two. I need to find some socks that will last longer. I like ankle socks not calf socks.

What socks do you guys find last long?

I usually wear my socks for a few hours a day. I change into them when I get home from work. My black socks I use for work last forever it seems.

My toenails are clipped well. They do not get holes there though. I get them in the seems in teh back and on the bottom and it is not from extreme wear because the last two pairs that ripped look brand new except for the holes

How come the outside is more comfortable then the inside? I used to turn them inside out.
