Then you know show cars that never run at the track. I know too many damn turbo hondas and each one has had tons of problems. Half of those tuned by one of the most saught after honda tuners in the nation. If it doesnt have problems they arent pushing it. Not seeing problems doesnt mean jack, owning and maintaining is different.

thanks everyone for all your input.

right now im leaning toward buying my dads truck. if i get the EF, im just gonna want to mod it. i know i'll do a few things to the truck if i get it, but nothing more than a sound system upgrade and a muffler, if that.

i really am worried that im gonna miss it too much. i love hondas. dammit.

the only thing is that robyn wants an EK hatch cuz her POS plymouth breeze finally died, so i'll be able to tinker with that a little bit here and there. and im sure she'd let me drive it when i dont feel like riding 4' higher than im used to.

:sigh: i do believe that getting rid of the sol is gonna have to be done. :wiggle:

ive realized that, but i havent done the math yet to figure out if it will even out because i have to put premium in the sol, and i can get away with a lower test in the truck.

the EF si hatch is still an option as well.

i also need to look into insurance. i'd imagine it'd be a considerable amount cheaper for me to be insuring the 94 yota than the sol. could be wrong though. :dunno:

oh bro.. that's soo sad to hear you thinking about getting rid of the sol.. its a nice ride, but yea.. in your situation, it might not be the best.

i personally think you should buy that EF. It's already slightly modified, and is in really nice shape - so you wont have to do too much to it, and anything you might do to it, would probably be cheaper than doing it to the sol or a newer honda. And wouldn't you be gettig a decent deal on it and it seems like a "YOU" car too.. ya know? and i think insurance would be the best on the EF.. see, you win everywhere :P

Modifying cars is in your blood man.. it doesnt matter if you got some cheap, whatever car, you would still do SOMETHING to it.. whatever you decide to do (getting rid of the sol and getting the truck or EF) is just to pace yourself on what you do. that's what i've learned since the PT and the CRX.. i can't keep doing these projects soo fast and soo "quickly" it costs a TON.

good luck bro on whatever you decide.. sucks about the sol

i like the kaapoosh

thanks for your input bro, i like the kapoosh too, but im starting to realize that it may be more trouble than its worth :wiggle:

it really comes down to either the truck or the EF. if i get the truck i'd probably break even or so.. i'd probably get maybe a little more than 5 grand for the sol, and the truck kbb's for just about 5000 as well. however if i go with the EF, i'd save money on the car itself (you know about how much ), insurance, and gas. and its moddable if/when i get bit by the bug again.

however, it might be kinda cool to do some stuff to the truck and make it a off-road beast

agh, this sucks. i wish turboing a honda wasnt so costly.
