i just ate a candybar, and i thought i had something stuck the back in my mouth. i pick at it, and its not moving. then i realize its on my gums. then i also realize, its my wisdom tooth.

i'm really not in the mood to get dental surgery

Depends on how bad they're messed up and how they take em out.
All four of my wisdom teeth were horizonatally impacted but poking out of the gumline a little. This is what they looked like, but with a little bit above the gumline:

I had all four taken out at the same time. It royally sucked for a few days afterwards, but they do give you lots of narcotic painkillers.
I would schedule it for a break from school.

The only way to know what's up is to have an xray.
The problem you'll run into is that if you have any sort of impaction and you wait too long to pull it out, it can push your other teeth closer together. On my bottom jaw I ended up with one front tooth that's ever so slightly forward from the others. Not a big deal but it kind of annoys me given all that time I had to wear braces.
Depending on what the xray shows I'd wait until like, winter break. Maybe sooner if they're really bad.
