The reason one would want to have a national health care plan is because some people see the choice between the current NO health care for poor people and the choice for SOME health care in the future.

Whether or not it's as good as "rich" people would pay for, I do not know.

It's a matter of providing some health care for people where there is none now.

kerry's plan though he says his optional, is not really optional unless you feel like paying twice for health care. i believe something must be done for the poor who work and don't have healthcare, but a universal type program is not the way to go.

you'll have worries if Kerry gets in and then institutes national healthcare. Least of your problems will be paying for other people's healthcare on top of what you pay for yours.

I'm talking about you paying for other people's healthcare by way of your taxes being higher. If you don't work then yes no worries, bt if you do, higher taxes mate.

Not to mention how shitting healthcare will become. Look at countries such as Canada and Europe who have universal healthcare. Their healthcare is teh suck.
