Someone said once the H and F series are similar and something from an H might bolt up? I don't have a clue though.

I doubt it. All the F series autos will bolt up.

I've seen an F22 tranny bolt up to an H22 block.

And likewise, my buddy has an H22 tranny in his F22 Accord.
