Well, as promised, the pics... 
Quality can be a bit fuzzy, took m with my phone cam, but I think the general idea will be clear...
As you might have gathered, it's a '91 CRX VT EE8...
Completely standard at the time being, except for the wheels.
And yes, it has a b16a1 as standard, as can be seen on the chassisplate.
I couldn't get a real clear shot of the code on the engine itself, but trust me, it's there!
So there you have it, to all of you who just wouldn't believe it, the evidence speaks for itself!
