I definitely think it'll be closer than the polls of the first Bush/Kerry debate.

National defense and Iraq took up a lot of the questions so Cheney gets a bit of an advantage there. Edwards gained ground on healthcare and education. Taxes could go either way.

Cheney's closing statement is yet more fearmongering which I am sick of.

Ergh. Edwards closing statement felt like I was in the jury box. I am rubbed the wrong way.

Cheney was very smooth, but I still get the same feeling from him as I get when I see the Emporer at the end of Return of the Jedi.

I ****ing hate politicians. What happened to statesmen?

more like thank you CIA.. back then they didn't tell the president anything unless he needed to make a statement to save face in the realms of diplomacy.
