I forgot that Oregon has the illiterate people have to work too law. That used to chap my ass to let someone else pump my gas. California is the best place I have been, and I have traveled a lot, lived in quite a few places. It used to be better, we got all these dipshits that moved here from elsewhere and screwed it up. I must confess though, Texas kicks ass. Cheap to live there, people are polite, and the women, well lets just say they are they raise them right in the south

 

Hawaii, AZ, Florida (except storm season), Louisiana, most of the midwest.

 

I was born and raised here in California. California does have its ups and downs but I enjoy it. Can't really go wrong. If prices were cheaper that would be nice but that isn't going to happen any time soon.

 

I like clouds. I like thunderstorms. I don't like living in a fishbowl.

 

I like where I'm at just fine, hence it is BETTER for me.

 

So in other words you just don't know any better.

 

As a very close friend of mine said to me last week "The only thing wrong with California is the people who've never been anywhere else. The only people I hang out with are those who moved here."
