thats a good idea if you ever buy an extended warrenty.

My ex got screwed out of his extended warrenty co. paying for his new tranny because he didnt have record of all his oil changes and other maintence.

I don't see them as an expense so I don't write them down or keep the receipts.

keeping track of location is unnecessary. i keep track of what was done (maintenance or not), on what day, and at what mileage. i keep receipts on just the more expensive items, or things that have a warranty.

:werd: That's what I do too. I have everything from the first oil change up until now. In a couple of weeks I have to do a major tune up on my truck and that is going to run me about 500-600 bucks. So I'm definetly keeping that receipt. When I first started driving my truck for the first 2500 miles or so I kept the gas receipts from all the gas stations I went to. I use to go with Chevron everytime now I really don't give a shit as long as it gets me from point a to point b.

I'm so anal that I have a log of my mileage, when I did mods, and all other maintenance.

:eek3: Anal... hmm you should see my brother. He actually asked me for a tooth pick because he saw a towel fuzzy stuck in his window crevice during the auto x. I haven't seen too many people who actually wax their bath tub or wash and wax their lawn mower after moving the lawn. Crazy I tell you... plain crazy.
