i dont see why everybody trashes them. dont they come with LT1 engines, same as the vette? and yet everybody respects the vette and trashes the camaro. :wtf:

 

Same engine different handling and luxury level completely.

I think the only reason I hate the newer Camaros so much is because of the extreme design change. The Camaro was never suppose to compete in the Vettes world. They started off as two completely different designs and looked nothing like each other.

Then in the 80s they fukked that all up and many people (myself included) see it as the white trash vette. The one for those too poor to afford the real thing and with worse handling and overall performance.

 

Arent the Vettes LS rather than LT?

The LT1 is the later version of the LS1 i think.

93-97 Fbodies came with the LT1
95-97 Camaro SS came with the LT4 or maybe it was just 97?

98-02 Camaros come with the Ls1
Both come with the same engine but the SS has a bit more power. In stock trim Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords ran a 12.8 with a bone stock Camaro SS........I miss my Z28
