Just two days ago, two teachers at my brother's junior high they fired two teachers, for no wrong reason. Bush has done nothing for this Country nor the World to help us fight terrorism, he has only thrown more gas to the fire in my eyes. Kerry made a very good point that those soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan not having proper protection like vests, I know this is true because my brother in law is in Iraq right now as we speak and my sister has to buy him white shirts and socks because they don't even provide him those things???? WTF, that sort of stuff boils my blood, if we weren't ready to go to war why the f*** did we go for? Senator Kerry pointed out that there was never an exit strategy for Iraq and even President Bush didn't answer that question straight in the debate. I know I wrote alot but this President I stronly feel is driving to this country's destruction.
you wanna know what some of the most weirdest irony on the school thing is
in washington dc, since bushes presidency, there have more lay offs to the dc teachers because of lack of founds. some schools this semester in dc were not able to open do to renovation problems and etc. schools alos have problems in winter with heat and with ac in the more heated part of the year. now some are asking where am i coming up with this crap? well, consider this, the schools in the NATIONS CAPITAL are not able to run in proper conditions for children do to lack of founds, yet we have 200 billion dollars to spend on war. COME ON MAN
agian i understand that it has to do with the state, but if your going to say that your going to do something, work it out. your the president, i think the state will listen to you .

i watched the debate from beginning to end and i think kerry had the upper hand about 90% of the time. and im not referring to the look on their faces. kerry made a lot of strong criticisms of the bush administration, and bush had very few defenses for them. that ofcourse is the nature of these debates, seeing as one candidate has a record as president to attack, and the other has none. but bush did a poor job defending his decisions as president, and that reflects on the solidity of those decisions. i really hope these debates can turn things around for kerry and win him the presidency. so far its looking good. :salute:

schools have those SAME problems everywhere.
When i was in CA..the teachers at the elementary school by brett's house were on strike.
Around here in PA...about 4 schools in teh last school year and beginning of this one have been closed because of mold, cracked walls, weak foundations, and just really..poor maintence.
Its everywhere. And i think that;s up to the individual states townships to decide where the money goes.

President Bush couldn't stand that he couldn't get some guy that hides in caves and probably rides on mules with all of our crazy a$$ technology can't catch him, but he goes to Iraq and catches nobody that had anything to do with 911 or maybe even Al Qeada. Easy target get Saddam, and put the focus on him and quietly work on catching Osama Bin Laden.
well youre bitching because we spent that much on the war...but previously you said it makes your blood boil that your brother in law and the rest of our troops arent being given teh proper supplies that they need.
are you completely anti-war then?
I think this debate swayed me more towards Bush. I just think he answered moore questions better, was more in tune with what this debate was about (securty/foreign affairs), and he seems more sincere.
I don't think being a little unsettled by a debate is a bad thing. I did 3 last year and I was no more calm at the 3rd one then the first. It's a different setting, and when you have more to lose then to gain, you put more pressure on yourself.
What I did notice is that when flustered, Kerry will make useless sentences whereas Bush will go "umm, ehh, mmm, ok" Kerry masks it better. But both were stumped about the same during the debate.
