warmoth.com rocks, I am specing out a custom flying V from there. Probably do a 7 string custom V with dual Seymour Duncan humbuckers.

yeah i think i'm gonna go with the V2 body with a kramer style or arrow style headstock. maple or mahogany body/neck. ebony or maple fretboard. **** rosewood. sick of it. all my fingers do is drag on those.
schaller 456 bridge. schaller locking tuners.
probably a dimarzio x2n on the bridge and maybe a tone zone on the neck
i can't find a guitar that i like that suits all my desires out of a guitar.
so i just decided that i'll build one

Nice choice!!! I kinda like the old school Gibson necks with the double fan out of the tuners. I like Schaller tuners a lot, I'd like to get a Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo preferably with a double up and down action. I hear you on the guitars, I've gone through dozens of guitars and hated them all. I wanted an Ibanez for a while, but I heard horror stories of the necks breaking. The Fenders just didn't have enough of a thick tone for me. I like the Gibson tone, but they really need tighter wound coils.

i have a floyd rose on my jackson. granted that guitar is korean made and discontinued, probably for good reason; but i still think my floyd rose is a pain in the ass. i think it is incredibly stupid that the bolts that hold down the saddles so you can intonate your guitar are underneath the string where you can't get to them unless you detune your guitar so low that the strings are able to be lifted. and then you have to guess as to where you should move them because your strings don't have tension. maybe i'm missing something but i don't think i'll get another floyd rose anytime soon.

Try a vintage whammy and you'll love a Floyd Rose, my Kramer has a Vintage and that never stays in tune. When I do a divebomb on a solo I have to start guessing where it detuned itself to. I kinda like have a whammy bar since I solo a lot, some of the newer generation Floyd roses have tune settings that you can use so you can do drop D and so forth. I agree 100% its a pain in the rear, but after years of using a vintage I'd much rather have a Floyd Rose.

This is the body I want:

This is the neck:

I wanna paint it a bright yellow. h:

Only problem with a V is that its uncomfy to play sitting down, you gotta literally hump it to get a comfortable seating.
