IE problem

Default IE problem
when i ever open IE it opens this http://files/Internet%20Explorer/iexplore.exe But its not set as my homepage, if i hit the home button it goes to me homepage. Is there anything i can do to get rid of this??

Quit using IE and switch to Opera, Mozilla, Firefox or any browser but IE.

reset your homepage in internet options. he didn't ask for alternative browsers. anything thread that's ie related, someone has to say 'use firefox instead'. that doesn't fix the problem. firefox is not > * browsers and neither is ie.

I tried to reset my home page, and it didn't work. This started happening after i installed SP2.

What do u mean Pron owns me??

Control Panel/Internet Options

Programs tab. button at the bottom says "Reset Web Settings"

Are you sure?

"Yes".

Close IE, Reopen.
