If you're not going to spend tons and tons of money on a watch, for something nice like a TAG, then why even bother spending $250?

I always felt that if you aren't going to get the top of the line watches, you might as well go with a mediocre $50-$100 watch, you know?

In any case, it depends on your personal taste and what kind of functionality you want out of the watch; for every day use I like Diesel watches.

I've always liked my Citizen...was around $150 I believe. I got it when I was in high school, still works perfectly.

Some Bulova watches are alright...... :dunno:

Or else just get a bunch of different kinds of knockoffs and rotate them.

TAG sucks ass. I have a diving watch, that did not turn out to be water tight. What good is a diving watch if you can't wear it in the shower. $225 and within 2 years it was not keeping time worth a damn. I have alwasy been a fan of Seiko. I have one I have had for 20 years that keeps good time, and looks good too
